I have been involved in the Pet Industry since 1980, primarily focused on the breeding and training of working dogs. It didn’t take me long to realise that nutrition affected our dogs as much as their genetic make-up and environment, in fact it seems that everything in life matters.

We now know that correct nutrition is the foundation of well-being for everyone, including our cherished pets. In fact, when you think about it, virtually every cell in your dog’s body gets its building blocks from what it eats … our dog’s quality of life depends upon it.

We have been working tirelessly to create this food by developing a synergistic relationship with Australia’s leading nutritionist, Bill Wiadrowski. Bill is an animal nutritionist with over 50 years’ experience in pet and performance animal nutrition.

Bill’s passion for nutrition has led to the understanding and development of the science of ‘nutrient ramping’ from which he has been able to develop several nutritional strategies to enhance the lives and well-being of dogs and cats. As a pioneer in this field he has travelled widely, both within Australia and internationally, to speak and advise about the ethical feeding of dogs and other species.

Whilst having been involved in designing and manufacturing diets for domestic dogs and cats since 1986, in recent years Bill has concentrated his efforts on applying these techniques to the development of superior pet food formulations to improve the quality of life, and health of our pets. As a result of his extensive testing and research, over 100,000 pet owners now feed their pets daily with the ultra-premium food produced, and this work has culminated in the release of the Performadog Premium Range of pet food products to the global market.
